Card Reader Transaction Server Communication Error
Problem (ISSUE-001)​
Card readers display one of the following error messages:
- TS Comm Error
- Please wait
- No Transaction server retrying...
- White Screen
These errors indicate that the card reader cannot establish or maintain communication with the Transaction Server.
Symptoms​
- Card reader displays error message on screen
- Reader may be unresponsive to card swipes
- Error message may appear intermittently or continuously
- Reader may show "retrying" status
Solution​
Step 1: Check Network Connectivity​
Contact the network administrator to verify:

Strong Connectivity Signal
- Ensure the card reader has a strong signal connection with the nearest access point
- Verify the reader is within range of the access point

Network Infrastructure
- Confirm the access point is operational
- Verify network switches and routers are functioning properly
- Check for any network outages or maintenance

Physical Connections
- Inspect network cables (if reader is wired)
- Ensure all network equipment is properly connected
- Check for any loose or damaged connections
Step 2: Verify Transaction Server Status​
- Check if the Transaction Server is running
- Check the Intercard Transaction Server service is Running
- Verify the server is accessible on the network
- Confirm server IP address and port configuration
Step 3: Reader Configuration​
- Verify the reader's network settings
- Check MAC ID configuration in Game Settings
- Ensure reader is assigned to the correct location
Prevention​
- Regularly monitor network connectivity
- Maintain proper access point placement for optimal signal strength
- Schedule regular network infrastructure maintenance
- Keep network equipment firmware updated
